About me
I am a product leader, educator, and writer with a passion for creating valuable, human-centred experiences by aligning user needs with business objectives. With a Master of Design in Strategic Foresight and Innovation, I bring a unique blend of design thinking and foresight methodologies to product development, helping businesses stay ahead of emerging trends.
As a Managing Design Consultant at IBM iX, I've led cross-functional teams to deliver large-scale, complex applications in sectors such as government, financial services, parcel delivery, and airlines. In 2020, I co-founded IBM's Strategic Foresight Guild, which now has over 500 members. Our mission is to empower roles across the development lifecycle with the skills to future-proof their products.
In addition to my consulting work, I serve as a Course Director at York University and a Professor at George Brown College, and I formerly taught at BrainStation. I've mentored and taught over 400 students, fostering the next generation of designers and product thinkers.
As a published writer, I share insights on design and product strategy through platforms such as Adobe XD Ideas, UX Planet, and IBM Design.
